Common answer to ripping problems: Use DVD Decrypter first!

Ugh, some people.

Lemme get this straight, you want to put ~6hrs on one dvd and have any type of decent quality? Good luck.

The best backup (using full D1 resolution) would have to be using either CCE or Procoder 1.5 (better for low bitrate encodes than Procoder 2). Use DVD-RB if you know how to.

-The very best advice I can give you, if your sticking 3 moveies onto one DVDr is to use HALF D1. It'll drop the resolution to 352x480, so it'll look far better at a low bitrate. You wont notice the resolution difference unless ur on large TV.

For an "easy" to use application that has quality, get Intervideo DVDCopy 3, Shrink is just terrible if you have to drop the quality below 60%

As for building a dvd and being able to navigate them, use either DVDShrink to reauthor it under no compression (compress it under one of the above), DVD Lab if you wanna get technical, or TMPGEnc if you wanna have a menu and have it be simple.

I don't know how but I managed to get all 3 Harry Potter movies onto 1 single-layer DVD with a menu and each look & sound great quality...

I'd sure love to know how it's done also...

btw... I have all 3 originals also...
