Anyone have any experience with them. I was thinking of getting some to back up the Star Wars Trilogy so i don't have to cut out all the extra's

Everywhere i look the prices are like 5.99 each, or $30 for a 3 pack
and can never seem to find decent brand that are on a spindle, most are jewel case pack which just costs more and i have no need for jewel cases when i can get a 100 pack of actual blank full size DVD cases for $27 for 100

The best price i found were on discs that i have no faith in
Memorex DVD+R DL 25 spindle for $69.99

I know that Memorex discs sucked when trying to back up games on them, but i have not tried movies on them.

If anyone has backed up movies on the Memorex discs let me know how the quality was. I would hate to spend $70 on useless discs.

Thats a good price but any memorex I have tried,
(except for cd-r) dvd-r,+r, or +r(dl) have NOT worked.
I would buy a 3 pack of the memorex first to make sure they
work.
All the dvd media I tried were CMC manufactured as well.

all memorex and tdk (in stores like best buy) are cmc AFAIK. once i did get some memorex and tdk that were ricohjpn01/02 but haven't since last year

Well i have no problems with TDK, i burn games and movies on them all the time. But like Jizmak said i have also had no luck with the Memorex.
I have a few spare Memorex that i am going to try putting some movies on this week, if they work good i think i will give the dual layer a try.
I know they did not work at all for games which is why i still have a few laying around.
