ripped a dvd w/shrink 3.2, using remaster to rip only main movie (title 1). On my pc thing plays fine via WinDVD, though the volume is quite low. However once I burned disc w/Nero, to play on my tv, there are english language subtitles over the image. What did I do wrong? Is there a way to switch them off using my dvd player or did I burn a disc I won't want to use? thanks, Arnstein

what i would try is find the subtitle button on ur dvd player's remote and push it till the word off appears on ur tv screen

I had that problem from time to time. I just remove the subpicture streams and the problem never returns.

i have the subtitle problem on most of my copies. I'm not bothered by it and just flick the subs off with the dvd remote. However i'm sure there are ways around this in the Shrink encoding process but i don't feel the need to fix it for myself as i'm ok wih it. 'fraid you'll have to do a sesrch at top of page as i can't remember where i read it..
