i want to backup Episodes with full menus from a double layerd DVD to fit on a dvd-5.

there are 2 episdoes on one side and 2 on the other side..id' like to put all 4 on 1 disc. and keep the menus and features..anyone can help? what progams?

that's not a double layered disc ... it's a double sided disc.

Rip side one with the latest version of DVD Decrypter put in a folder.
Rip side two put in a differently named folder.

Access these folders with DVD Shrink, use re-author mode, deep analysis, and burn.

I think CloneDVD 2 can merge dvds and keep functional menus.

well i found a way todo it... i compressed both sides of the disc's with shrink..they i used a program called dvdremake..open both saved disc's, merged them together...save the merged dvd, then burn with shrink..all my menus were preserved...
