I have tried using decrypter, dvd clone, dvd shrinks and the movies always freeze at about the sixth or seventh chapter. I made a few clean movies at fist, but can't get one clean one now. Any help?

Classic symptoms of poor quality media, burning too fast or the use of labels on your burnt DVDs.

What brand of DVD (media) are you burning to?

too fast as suggested above, and the ID CODES will tell you who made the disks.as a lot of companies sub contract the manufacturing of the dvd's out to sub standard

for example, just because the sony disk's have the brand name on them, doesnt mean that sony have made them,
they could have been made by a crappy company such as CMC magnetics

download this and see

I don't think the sonys should be causing you any problems. They're mostly made by reputable manufactures. Try slowing the burn speed to 4x or slower. Might just be a compatibility problem with your set-top dvd player and dvd+r media. Try some good quality dvd-r's or if your dvdrw is capable, booktype your dvd+r's to dvd-rom to increase compatibility. The Teons are definately a problem. Use them for drink coasters or build a mobile for your tv room. Here are some media codes.

Sony DPR47/120 DVD+R 2.4x (RICOHJPNR00)
Sony DPW47/120 DVD+RW 2.4x (RICOHJPNW01)
Sony DVD+R 2.4x (RICOHJPNR00)
Sony DVD+R 4x (RICOHJPNR01)
Sony DVD+RW (RICOHJPN W01)
Sony DVD-R 2x (SONY)
Sony DVD-R 4x (MCC 01RG20)
Sony DVD-R 4x (SONY04D1)
Sony DVD-R 8x (SONY08D1

Teon DVD+R 4x (CMC MAG E01)
Teon DVD+R 4x (CMC MAG.F01)
Teon DVD+R 4x (Philips C08)
Teon DVD-R 4x (CMC MAG. AF1)

CMC MAG IMHO is the worst media manufacturer there is period and are crapola.

Cool, glad we got ya fixed up. I would still toss those teons, if they work now more than likely they won't in a few months.
