Yes, I have read the FAQs, and yes, I have used the search feature, exhausting to the greatest of my knowledge how to find the information I so desire. In short, I want to cheat my ever-loving ass off at a few games, simply for the desire to get them out of my way, and I need w ay to get it to work. I've seen a few guides, but bits of the terminology elude me thus far. I am new to this, but I have a fairly firm grasp on the basics of how this works.

Here's what I have:

One (1) Version 9 PlayStation2, NTSC (United States)
One (1) SwapMagic v.3.6 CD-ROM loader
One (1) SwapMagic v.3.6 DVD loader
One (1) Fliptop modification installed
Two (2) Backups of ARmaxEVO, NTSC and PAL.
One (1) Backup of Xploder4
One (1) Backup of Gameshark 2 (Unsure of the version)

After reading some of the guides, my major stopping point is reading the step that includes the phrase "EA method". I've whipped, beaten, harassed, and otherwise tortured Google into providing answers, but all I really got was re-directed back to this forum. If anyone would be so kind as to give me a friendly push in the right direction, i would truly appreciate it.

Also, I apologize if I appear to be breaking the rules in any way I am unaware of, or posting incorrectly / in the wrong area. I did not download any of the afformentioned games illegally, but I no longer have any of the original discs (Would that make a difference in this situation? I could probably finance buying a new one). However, when I select the cheat codes on any of the variety of these games, And attempt to boot the disc, either by putting in the DVD-R backup or the SwapMagic disc, it doesn't work. I've tried a few CD and DVD loaders I found here and there on the 'net, to no avail.

So, it is with great anger and resentment that I look unto my PS2 with a firm, steely gaze, and instantly run crying to an internet forum where the people know how properly to make it pay for mistreating me.

Cordially,
S.B.

Then it doesn't work.

I've tried it like so

1) Put in CD loader
2) Swap for ARmax
3) Select codes
4) insert DVD loader
5) insert game disc

It jumps to the browser, and I get that message from the depths of hell "Please insert a PlayStation or PlayStation2 disc".

So, if my swap disc is "ea method", it's not working very well.

ea method means open your fliptop. Whenever you put in the swap magic discs, hit eject. whenever you put in a burnt disc, use the fliptop.
