i have a film that is an MPEG cd1 and cd 2 , i now have a bin/cue file for both cd1 and cd2. How do i join theese together ? . I did use vcd gear to turn the bin files into mpegs but when i went to join them using virtual dub it said ERROR no frames found????

I then used DIVXtoDVD but when i burned it to dvd it was only playing as a small box on the screen , even though i stated force 16:9 ratio..

I guess what i want to now is how can i get 2 bin/cue files joined together and put onto a dvd??

any help greatly received.

Hi, ok here we go, VSO dvxtodvd will by default create a dvxtodvd sub-folder in your My Documents folder.

Ignore any TS-Folders dvxtodvd may offer you. Access your dvxtodvd sub-folder with DVDShrink, go into re-author mode, choose the former CD1 , drag it across, now back to the dvxtodvd folder, choose CD2 if no compression is required choose the no compression option.
Now back up, if shrink says it needs to delete the contents of a TS_FOLDER allow it to do so.

And you'll end up with two CDs' joined into one DVD.

I find working out of this sub-folder gives me more control over the contents on my H/D, DVDShrink just eats up any spare clutter.

DVDSanta and Nero Vision Express etc. work with mpegs very well. Just paste them all and they'll be joint automatically.

thank god some b*****d is having this trouble also,

i cannot find a way around this either, and if someone does,i want to be the first to know pls.....:),as i like this app'...>best quality for me

btw,to get around the small issue,i use Nero vision express as the last resort,as this is the only app i can find that doesnt cause this problem, with these files (small screen),but i hate it (nero)

hursty,
About the reduced image thing, it did happen to me once lately while using DivxToDVD. I checked and discovered that while the resolution of the original AVI was 720X480, it became 480X480 after the transcoding. I thus used a different program (X Video Converter) to change the codec of the original AVI into Xvid which Nero well recognized and burnt with Nero without any problem. My experience has been that while DivxToDvd works pretty fast, sometimes it won't recognize certain avis, and sometimes there's the sync. problem. And of course there was this one time with the reduced image problem. Anyway, there are always other methods to work around the problems.
Cheers!

I've never had this proble but, I always burn this program, with a shrink/nero combination.. I wonder if that's the solution?
