Help Pease, have been using Windows M.M 11 and want a little more bang for my buck. Like the format but want more transitions, templetes and ect. Want chapters, picture in picture, basically easy like Windows Movie Maker. Don`t want to spend alot of $$ just a program that I can "jazz" it up a bit. Power Director 4,Ulead Video Studios 8 and Adobe Preimier Elements 1.0 are my first choices. Any ideas woud be appreciated. Respectively Yours, BIG AL California PS, still want the "story line" and maybe drop in transitions, and ect. Using fire wire and Mini DV sony camcorder. Thank You______________

I tyied a New Editing Program yesterday that so Far seems like a Pretty Cool editor and it is Very Cheap and has Lots of Features...

The Program is called "MagiX Movie Edit Pro v10.0" and I think it only costs "$29" for the On-Line version and you can download about 800mb worth of Extra Style Packs and DVD Menu"s and it has Lots of effects and Transitions and it suppoerts Most Video and Audio formats....

It is worth Checking out at such a cheap Price....

Cheers

I just find Adobe products un-user friendly. I like the storyboard/timeline with Windows Movie Maker, but can't get it to export to a DVD format without running it back thru my dig camcorder.

Some people are like Slinkys. Absolutely useless but they can still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

Adobe products are a little difficult to get used to, but once you do it is well worth it. Premier utilizes the timeline system, so it is fairly easy to do simple things immdiately, and you only get better from there. I use the Adobe Video Collection (which you can get for about half price with a student discount) and it is great. The formats are all preconfigured for each other, so after I edit film in premier, I can add effects in after effects, and make a menu, chapters, and other options in Encore. It is a little steep, but the result is nothing short of professional.
