Backing up a DVD MOVIE to a PS2 HDD.

My question is simple, I want to know if it's possible to back up a legal copy of a dvd you already own onto your PS2 so the disc does not get worn and scratched.

I dont think you can, unless there some program out there that allows you to create a partition and install a type of media center program but as far as i know there is not.

Awwwww, stink buzz.....cause i brought a movie called "stevenKingsRoseRed" on dvd and i wonna copy it so if it gets recked i hav another, when ya try to copy it, all this copy write stuff pops up, man that sucks!

What software are you trying to rip it with, if it's DVD Decrypter then you may have to add a PSL file, check out the forums at http://www.dvddecrypter.com/

dvd decryptor? no what i want to know is can you back up a movie onto your PS2 hdd... not onto your PC....

E.G.

TheMatrixReloaded.ISO (ripped from DVD)

+ Winhiip

Add image onto PS2 hdd, playback, does it work?
