no you cant, there not made the same, you have to buy them

Swap Magic dics are actually pressed DVD/CD discs, they are not burned. PS2 games and swap magic use the Burst Cutting Area (BCA) of the disc to identify themselves to the PS2 unit. The BCA is not part of a disc that you can burn on, it is only replicated on pressed discs.

Swap magic is needed to make the ps2 believe that the copied disc has the bca written on to it. Without the BCA, the games wont boot.

With the boot-discs (swap magic) you need a 'tool' to open
the tray without pressing eject for the backups to work.
