For a while I been using Maxell and memorex both Ritek g05 based and loved them. till recently Ive now gone through 6 spindles full of defects. the latest ones at best buy, wal mart and future shop have real bad defects. when you burn them and look at the surface you can see flaws.

now I was about to try some fujis but somone told me the ones at best buy have the same problem.

i need a spindle of good media. where and what do i get?

Dito. Verbatium is the BEST in my book...however, Fuji-film has ALWAYS worked perfect for me!

I don't know honestly. I always use dvd-r media for PS2. I heard dvd+r was either less reliable or less compatible with PS2. I'm not totally sure though. Usually the bottom of the disc should be a smooth clean purple....no dye imperfections at all. That's what makes a burn. Trial and error....all I have to say.

dvd +r is a more reliable disc, but less compatable with the ps2

i think it only works well on v7 and over
