I just got 100 fuji films dvd+r made in japan.. disc id is Media Type: DVD+R (Disc ID: YUDEN000-T02-00)

they seem good but unlike all the other medias i have looking at the writing side of these discs even when blank you can see tracks everywehere is this normal???

What I mean is like thin lines... all 100 of my discs have them.

Not complaining though this media seems to perform well.

Mine are.

Disc ID: YUDEN000-T02-00
Book Type: DVD+R

They work great!!
I dont see any of the lines your talking about though.
Compared to verbatim they seem the same just a little lighter in color.
i use them all the time.

FUJI 8X DVD+R (Made In Japan) is the best. That's my first choice of burning PS2 games and movies. My second choice is Verbatim (Made In Singapore) and my third choice is Maxell 8X DVD+R (Made In Japan) also.

I know these discs are suppose to be good. and testing them shows no problems. but when putting mine under a light i see the slight tracks and would like somone else to try it and hopfully see these tracks or else i bought 100 defects..

though they seem to work great. no coasters yet ps2 likes em, sony dvd set top likes em, 2 no name set tops like em. pc likesw em.

just a little paranoid after getting a bunch of real real bad ritek g05s. that are normally flawless.

I definitely recommend the FUJI DVD+R (MADE IN JAPAN) if your PS2 is capable of reading it. Stay away from MADE IN TAIWAN - this is kind of risky like 50 - 50.
