I have just been reading this thread and I wanted to let everyone in on Cucusoft AVI to Dvd it can convert almost any file to mpeg1&2 or prep for VCD or dvd. You can batch add files to convert to one file I have done it many times with great success you may have to add a numberic such as 1 & 2 to the end of the file name if not already present to combine them. I also recently added subtitles using this program combined with VobSub see follow the link to this forum for more info http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/1/203614#1136245

Cucusoft used to be slow but it has been updated and is much faster, They also now offer a dvd burning software that works very well with the converter software with excellent results and advance controls it's not expensive and comes with lifetime upgrades.

Yes this app has been updated three times last year and the current version is the fastest yet...with advanced settings to increase sound volume, frame rates and a number of other settings once you purhase a copy free upgrades for life on new versions and the new dvd burning software is designed to work with the encoder software and delivers fast burns as well check it out.

Ok, silly question, but would AVI2DVD still pull in the other AVI files if they were named (for example):
Matrix CD1 - "episode name".AVI (e.g. Matrix CD1 - Neo.avi
Matrix CD2 - "episode name".AVI Matrix CD2 - Trinity.avi
Matrix CD3 - "episode name".AVI Matrix CD3 - Morpheus.avi)

That's how I currently have my 16 AVI episode files named, but I don't know if I have to rename them a different way so AVI2DVD knows to pull in multiple files.

Also, the 16 episodes total 5.4 GB. Will AVI2DVD pull in up to 4.7 GB or do I need to use a seperate program to fit the 16 files into two separate ISO files? If so, what program do you recommend. I'm a newbie so nothing too complicated please. =) If not, can I use DVD Shrink to shrink the final ISO file down to 4.7 GB then burn using DVD Decrypter, or will AVI2DVD not allow all 16 files to be "merged" together as one file if over 4.7 GB?

hi

only tried 2 files being pulled in but it supposed to do alot, so not sure on 17?

but rename like this!

Matrix CD1.avi
Matrix CD2.avi
Matrix CD3.avi
Matrix CD4.avi

load this 1 only!

Matrix CD1.avi

it will pull the rest in! first job it does to output folder is jion the lot! so can be used as a jioner only too = nice!

yes it will do the lot you just burn the iso! it does shrink it!

Nothing here to see, move along folks.

it will split the file to fit or you can shrink an iso as stated in this thread also rename them all the same name with sequential numbers is best
