hello, i was curious on how to make a successful backup of madden 2005 collectors edition since it is a dvd9. do i try to use the GOW method, or easy rebuild method, or is there a diiferent way? just figure i'd ask b4 i make coasters.

the easiest way is to copy the non collectors edition :)

ok, i think i got somewhat of a successful backup, i used GOW method kinda, using apache2 and cdvdgen. i basically rebuilt the game almost as u would GOW (minus the .pss files and .psw files, cuz there is none and there is no .TOC file). basically i did not inculde the 2nd layer, because the files looked like movie files (bonus movies), theses were the files:
MOVBONUS.DAT
MOVCOMM.DAT
MOVIEDAT.DAT

So basically i just backup the first layer. so far gameplay is just fine(like PLAY NOW, AND I DID SOME MADDEN 101) have not tried the other features like FRANCHISE, or SPECIAL FEATURES). i did notice it locked up when i tried to access in the extras MADDEN BOWEL. so probaly all the bonuses are gone and most likely the extras

i think this is the best i can do with this game, it works, but it's far from perfect.
