Does anyone have any experience with this media at 8X + or - R? Media codes are: PRODISC.R03, ProdiscF01, MCC 02RG20...

i had a few prodisc a LONG time ago, over a year ago, but, not that many...less than a dozen, while my LIMITED testing on prodisc found them to be "decent" (not great), they are on par with average budget discs. the LAST media code i've had LOTs of experience with, as it is the same as my Verbatim 8x dvd-r that i have few hundred of, those work flawlessly for me personally, the other 2 prodisc media I.Ds you mentioned i have used the first one...PRODISC.R03 with relatively good success, but i have never used the 2nd media coded one myself~
you should be ok with the MCC coded ones...i know i have been very successful with them, the Prodisc coded...i don't have enough testing with them to give you an educated answer, but, i know for a fact Prodisc are MUCH better than Optodisc (Optodisc are just a notch above CMC MAG and Princo/Khypermedia)~ and let's not even start about comparing with the bottom of the rung CMC MAGs. :P

i have prodisc mcc01rg20 they're great. but i dunno if they're fake or not

most likely they are REAL...prodisc made earlier 4x dvd-r with that coding...i assume i am correct in that they are 4x rated, not the 8x rated above?
if they work good for you, that's great news~ you really don't have to worry much about FAKE Prodiscs...most OEM brands try to fake the Taiyo Yudens due to their reputation and high respect for that brand~ hence, higher sales, more $$ to the companies that can fake a well known brand~
you should be fine~
