Im using the old ps2 (not the slimline) and Swap Magic 3.6, i am tryin g to play a back'd up DVD i did. Its a Phillips DVD+RW disk, when i put the dvd version disk in and wait for the screen, i then put my backed up DVD in and get the messege this is not a valid ps2 disk. Is it the wrong sort of disk i have, i have tryed everyway possible i.e. Normal boot and Speacial boot etc. i have even tryed the cd version disk, please help me guyz im a bit of a noob lol, cheers

what are you using to try to swap the discs?

fliptop? slide card etc

Bottom line : YOU CANT use RW discs.
Try burning on good media at 2x speed.
(-r or +r format only) Older ps2 models 1-4 cant read +r BTW.
Ps2 CANNOT read RW media.

im using flip top, i have tryed a cd that i backed up and that CD-R and that wont work either, any other suggestions will be appriciated
