codebreaker 8.1 on MC

i have codebreaker v4.0 and 8.1 (both retail). i was wondering how i could load 8.1 from my MC. i tried with 4.0 and got it to work just fine. i could NOT load 8.1 from MC. does anyone know how or if it is possible?

well, now that i have found my version seven codebreaker, all is well with me. thanks to superXL on the thread that i created, i now have what i need to keep on working. thank you afterdawn.

how do you run codebreaker from the memory card? I have been wanting to know this for ages.

you take your retail codebreaker cd, and copy the files to a folder on a USB drive, and use launchelf to run it from the usb. make sure you rename the slus file to something like codebreaker#.elf. this does NOT work with 8.X or higher. i used a retail 4.0, and 7.0 to do this and they both worked for me. BUT, you would need to have the original game disc, OR retail hdl/hda to load the game with cheats.

your usb doesnt have to be that big. i did everything with a 32MB usb drive. i only copied a couple of files here and there. nothing was very large. and i can not say about armax, because i dont know about the product. if they have a usb, then it should work. i guess i'll mention that i have a v7 PS2 (schp 39001)
