I have copied 3 movies from originalls which are all made by Paramount pictures company and neither one of them can not be played except on PC. I can not put them on hard disc again using DVD decrypter or DVD shrink. The both softwares are freezing after start.
Does someone know how to broke those protections and which software should I use? Thank you...

Try using AnyDVD.
the have a 21 day free trial.
It should solve your problems.
Just having AnyDVD running in the background,
will enable you to copy Directly from the disc.
(using DVD Shrink to compress and Nero to burn.)

If you have burnt them to disk already then you have broken the copy protection. If your moviers are freezing ...... skipping or what ever you have a Media problem .... most likly of a problem with the way you backed up your movie.

Question .....

1. what brand of DVD did you use
2. how fast did you burn it
3. were you doing anything on your computer when you were doing your movie

I'm not certain if the disk is paramount but I have a disk now that I can not rip at all. I've DVD43 running, I usually use Nero 6 which has worked but exactly 27% of the way through there is an error. I proceeded to use alcohol, 1click dvd, decrypter all of which has worked in the past but this disk will not go. This may have something to do with "sterile burning"? If this is related to the original post and someone can help I would appreciate it; if it is not related then my apologies for posting here.

What movie is it?

try the latest AnyDVD first ..... if that does not work then you have a bad disk ...... get another copy.

As bassnut says you probably have a bad disk take it back and get another original. Sterile burning is a music CD encryption that only allows you to make a certain number of CD copies.

Thanks for the heads up regarding sterile burning. I see that the movie I've been trying to backup has provided lots of trouble for others. "Are We There Yet?" I will try AnyDVD all though I don't have it I may break down and buy it as I've noticed that most prefer it over DVD43.

Anyway thanks again guys, Dissones4u

This movie has been a problem for a few, but many have had no problems at all and have been very succesful.

Hy, thank you for your answers, I will try AnyDVD soon as I download it. I`m talking about this movies: The Manchurian candidate, The Gift and Uncommon Valor. I used MMORE and Traxdata DVD`s and I have burned them on the lowest speed. I didn`t do anything at the same time. Except it freeses DVD Decrypter answers: ?Failed to read Sector... - Copy Protection Key Exchange Failure - Authentication Failure?. I backup all movies on same ways with DVD Shrink.

Are you using the latest DVDDecrypter? Try this site on info for hard to rip movies, see if it makes any difference.

If not, I hope AnyDVD works for you, it is one of my favorites and has not failed me:~)
