Guys u wont believe this, i got my slide card combo just hours ago , read all the threads, then tried 2 open the damn disk tray with the card , but it wont budge.... so i forced and broke the tray,, u know the part with the PS logo on it... but it still works just fine,,,,,
eject the disc tray then turn it off at the back. This will cut the power and leave the tray open. Turn the ps2 over and there will be a small screw in the corner of the tray, some ps2's have 2 screws, it depends on the version. Removing this screw allows u to slowly slide off the bit i think u just broke, search google for slide card instructions and youl find a pictorial somewhere explainin the pre-modifications u hav to do b4 tryin to use the slide tool, im suprised the slid card itself didnt snap if u tried to insert it under the sidc tray faceplate :S
i feel like a god right now,,, n may all the noobs grovel at the sight of my backed-up games +slide card....
