Get yourself Swap Magic V3.6 (Just do a search in google or buy off ebay) and Magic Switch. Works well once you suss out how to burn your backups correctly!

Yes, along with purchasing SwapMagic, either v3.3 or v3.6, you will need to make one other change to the console itself. This could be as simple as the slimtool or Magic Switch, or you could purchase a fliptop lid that will allow the swap method to boot correctly.

ohhh thenx 4 ur help i will do that cuz i only have da old one swap magic 2.0 dvd and cd version....some ona has tell me dat i can play my backup games but i need it to do something with a peace of tape something like that but i dont remember..but thenx anyway...and if you know what i mean hit me up please ....thenx

For the Slimline pstwo, are you referring to the 'tape mod'?

I have used this method for using SwapMagic v3.3 on my slimline for 8 or so months now without a problem.

This method is free, unless you don't have any duct tape lying around. You need to open your conole to apply the tape. If you care about your warranty sticker you can use this as a hinge, rather than messing with it. There are 2 sensors that are pressed down when the PS2 is closed, so you have to tape them down so they remain pressed at all times.

There is a thread from long ago with pictures showing these 2 sensors if you need a visual. 1 is in the front near the power button, and one is just to the left of the drive area in the back. Get these 2 sensors compressed with tape, close your console back up, and it's ready to swap with SwapMagic discs.
