So last time I posted something about this, someone posted that there's a DivX player in elf format...now I'm wondering:

1) Where can I find this?

2) What about watching avis that needs codecs to be playable? (i.e: ffdshow, which is needed or else divx wont load it)

It will play Divx/Xvid-compressed AVIs (not any MPG's), if they are packed without any special options like Qpel or packet bitstreaming for example, and if they won't have too high bitrate and/or resolution.
