well. like i just said, i opened and accidentally removed the metal ribbon connecting the power/eject buttons to the disk tray..., the side of the metal sheet which goes into the power/eject button is intact, but the side going into the disk tray just ripped out...

could any1 please tell me where n how to put it back in????

Calm down because this seems to be a commom mistake when opening your ps2 case i even did it to mine. All you have to do is take some forceps and place the end of the ribbon into the small slot on the right side of your ps2. Once you put it in there is a clamp to hold it in place just push it down. If you cannot reach it cus of the ps2 parts you may have to take it apart a little to be able to reach it.
