When I tried to back up my copy of "Talking Lives" it stops at 97% and says it can't read from my dvd drive. I went out and rented a copy of Talking Lives thinking something might be wrong with my disc and when I put it in and start DVD Shrink it starts at the same 97% then I get the same message about not being able to read my drive. I have backed up several dvd in between trying these 2 copies of Talking Lives and have had no problems.
Is there a way to clear DVD Shrink's memory so that when I put this new copy of Talking Lives it thinks it's a new dvd( meaning different dvd)
Go into my computer, tools tab, folder options, check show all hidden files and folders
Hit ok. Then go into your Documents and Settings, All Users, Application Data and your DVD Shrink folder. You should see all your analysis folders. You can delete them all but the 1K file.
are you using the latest version of decrypter (3.5.4.0).
I don't know if this movie has any funny (ie newer) protections on it; so if you're using the latest version and it was a newer protection, decrypter would sail thru it
It could have been my drive, I just updated the firmware. I have 2 DVD writable drives and I should have tried it in the other drive but just didn't think of it until now.
