Hello,
I faced same problem with some videos that were shaky, I don't know much on this problem exactly but I did solve it using VirtualDub and StreamBox Ripper .. When I faced this message I found that audio is played earlier than Video even my main problem solved using VD only I couldn't enjoy the video so I did the follwoing:

* Open the video file in VD and select File->Save WAV... here the audio of the video will be saved as WAV file.
* Run StreamBox Ripper and load the WAV file and convert it to uncompressed WAV file.
* Open the Video file in VD be sure the command in Video menu 'Full processing mode' is selected and the command 'WAV audio...' in audio menu select the wav file. Compress the video if you like and select File->Save as AVI... and process

That what I did for my problem and I got a good result, hope this solve your problem

Hi!

Sorry for my poor English.

Step 1:
Download and run "NanDub" (it´s a variation of VirtualDub)

File > Open video file > Save WAV

Step 2:
Download and install "dBpowerAMP Music Converter"

Right-click on the WAV file you saved: Convert to > (choose "Wave") > Convert

Step 3: (if you will create a VCD or SVCD)
Download and run "TMPGEnc"

Video File (Browse) - select the AVI file

Audio File (Browse) - select the WAV file you have converted

In my opinion that process works perfectly.

Hugs from Brasil,

Maciel
