I have found out why my Decrypter took ages (meaning: up to 2 hours) for writing and burning backup dvds.

I have been using an external HD. The reading took up to 1 hour, the writing up to 1 and 1/2 hour.

When I tried the same procedure, but with saving the image file on my desktop, it was more than double as fast. 10 minutes for reading, 30 minutes for writing. And the game works perfect!

Just thought I'd mention it here, in case somebody else has been through the same problem.
