Is there any way that I can rip a DVD without the use of any software? I really would prefer not to download any more software on my computer than I already have because my computer is so slow. So it would be great if there was a way to rip without the use of extra software. I tried just dragging the VIDEO_TS folder onto my hard drive, but that didn't work. Sorry, I'm really new to DVD ripping and don't really have a clue of what I'm doing! Thanks for any help!

You can play a movie but you need software to rip because the movie has encryption which needs to be broken, and if you want to burn that movie to a DVD you will need software to compress and encode and then burn. You can get two free programs DVDShrink and DVDDecrypter and there are guides to direct you all at this site.
