I would like to first apologize for writing this as I'm sure it is already somewhere in the millions of threads, but couldn't find it. My problem is that after I backup my movie the backup is not recognized in my dvd rom drive unlike the original. Plays fine in stand alone but not on comp. I'm using dvd shrink, decrypter, and record now/sonic to burn. Drive is lite-on 851s. Thanks everyone.

HP's Record Now is notorious for hardware conflicts with non-hp drives. You don't need it to do what you're doing. Just use Decrypter to place the original on the HD, Shrink it (if needed), and burn the ISO with Decrypter. You might try a firmware update but I doubt that's the problem.
