ok i got my self a dvd burn and i also do have a moded ps2 when i try to copy a game or burn i keep getting a eror like this

i dont know what is going on when i put a dvd in to copy a i try to burn a game that i downloaded i keep getting this problem help me i am useing a pioneer .. but i was just using a sony and had the same problem

ok just a quick add in i just put this dvd burner in and i have been using alocahol 120 and dvd decrypter

Did you change the jumpers on the back of the drive? What are they set at?
MASTER
SLAVE
CABLE SELECT
Try changing the jumpers to cable select, you should have no problem using this on an up to date system

umm... what did u just say... i have no cluse can u explain that in moron term plz.. i have no clue what u just said all i do know that my cd reader is the master i think

Hi
If your cd reader is the master then your dvd burner must be set as slave. Take the drive back out of your computer and look at the back of it where the cables plug in, there you will see the jumpers, there wil be one maybe 2. Now look on the top of your drive just above these pins and it will be printed on it some thing like
MA SL CS
: : :
If its not marked on top of the drive check your manuals that came with the drive
Now remove the jumper and place it on the pins marked sl (slave)you might need a pair of tweezers to remove it
Reinsert your drive and give it a try

ok i will do it right now but keep a eye on the form plz cause if that does not work i will have no clue where to go from there

hey i put my dvd burner as the master drive now every things works so far for the first burned game .... but we will see in the future if every thing works alright
