firstly sorry if iam in wrong place(very new to this) however would be greatfull for guidance,
got a avi film, converted it to dvd using cucosoft,then Cucusoft MPEG to DVD Author, everything working fine burned the files using nero 6 (burned great) however when came to playing on dvd player it sticks on video, but the sound ok, and plays on fast forward, is it me, the player or the burned dvd, anyone help my out on this, oh by the way got some results ok from other avi,s and they play ok?

could be 1 of many things.

1) Always keep burn speed 4x or under. Burning too fast greatly increases the chance for errors.
2) What does the AVI file look like if you watch it on your computer?
3) What brand of media are you using? Low quality media is to blame 75% of the time.
4) Have you tried a different program to author the AVI? I use Divx 2 DVD. Free, simple to use and works fast.
