hi i have alot of avi movies on my pc and i use WINAVI video converter 2 convert them to dvd.
After this i use TMPGEnc DVD Author to create a menu and 2 have two dvd movies on one disc.

When i have done this i burn the audio_TS and Video_TS on to a 4.7gb dvd disc at 1x using nero.

The first film works fine without any problems but at the end of the second film it starts to lag alot and skipps small parts of the film.

Can any1 tell me y this is happening and wot i might b able 2 do.

You may be burning to close to the edge, set your target size to 4.3 the other main reason could be your using crap media.

hey gringle thanks 4 trying 2 help.
I dn't think its because i am burning to close to the edge because the total size of the films together is 4.1 gigs.
Maybe u r right about the media.
You know if imation is gd thats wot i used

Not very good media, I'm afraid ehsan_c it sound like that may be the culpit. check out the DVD-r forum
