flip lid with damadged motherboard..

can anyone tell me if swap magic and flip lid will work properly, if my motherboard is slightly damadged, my ps2 works fine as long as there's no mod in it.

dvd control chip legs (wires A B I G) , damaged legs bridged, (failed install attempt with matrix infinity, ps2 v10)

does it load original games or backups still at all?

yeah...it plays all original games with no probs at all..mod was taken out because i was gettin hit and miss boots, so doesnt play backed up games anymore...i was told the damadge may coz more problems in the future..
