Anyone know of any online retailers that is selling Advent Children just the movie DVD?? (pre-order of course)
All i can find is Amazon.co.jp anyone know of any others dont want to fork out all dat money for the Ultimate Edition.

i say go for it. they're making a movie about it anyway, why not double the profits and go for the new game.. . it would be so awesome. it would be even cooler it they could remake FFVIII as well, maybe put both on the same disk (like Zelda Four Swords & Link to the past)and put them together. i think they should remake every FF game- even the originals (like make them as emulators for the PSP or games for the Nintendo GBASP or DS) they'd make so much money off of that.

www.adventchildren.net had links to info that stated it was supposed to be out on the 15th-ish of this month.

Working at a retailer that is pre ordering final fantasy 7 advent children, our system our saying that it will not be out until novemember being moved back from the september release earlier stated. And as for the final fantasy 7 remake, I will believe it when I see it.

Tickets, it aint coming out at the cinema dude its coming out on DVD. I have a feeling that itll be sometime in October that it comes out in America

This just in...!
I just finished reading an interview on Tetsuya Nomura (you should know who). He said sooo many things of AC.
Also, the remake of FFVII on PS3. He said that if he wanted to remake it,he would need to hire 300 people to help, and the game process would take aabout five years to make.
But
In parenthesis it said
"that does'nt mean they're NOT doing it."
However, Tesuya stated that he has soo many projects planned that he doesnt know (unless hes lying) if he wants to squeeze that big project in there.
On a lighter note, he said that there are many games of his/theirs/Squares coming out on all Next-Gen consoles.
I think that this game NOT being remade would be a crime.
He'll do it eventually...
By the way, AC is thought greatly to be Late October/ Mid November

That is what I have been waiting for a ff 7 remake and I don't if I can wait 5 years, but until it does come out I will continue to play ff 7 again and again.

I have a feeling that FFVII will be remade.. eventually anyways... But to do that kinda project... they would need alot of ppl... most of the original FFVII project programmers and such are too busy on other projects or just no longer available... About AC... It's no doubt thats it's been pushed back from the original Sept. release... even if the movies all ready for release they would still postpone it... for drama reasons... they're apt to get more money by waiting... but they need to watch waiting too long... cus it will be leaked onto the internet within 3 secs of someone getting their hands on it... which will be major money loss for them...

I stand corrected about it being leaked... it's already leaked onto the internet in full DVD quality... Jap with Jap subs... all in XviD format... If they don't hurry... they're going to lose alot of money...

i hear that. waiting for a top notch, official, original with the best quality picture and sound would be my choice. sure we could all join the internet crowd and 'acquire' Advent Children, but i'm picky about what i wanna see, and i wanna see AC in great quality... and in english (if they've dubbed it already)

so let me get this straight...
AC isn't coming out in theatres, only on DVD, and that's in late October- Mid November, the FFVII Remake is only going to be 4 NG consoles, possibly not even going to be thought about starting until 2010, and even then there may be so many projects flooding Square that they may not even have time to THINK about the remake... and what about the other great FFs? like VIII? that one should be redone. new cinematics, cleaned up game graphics, all o' tha good stuff... man. Square's got alot to think about.

I agree with you guys about AC... Even if I was willing to download it (god forbid the piracy) I would wait to buy the original ne ways... I plan to buy the US and the International so... Squares getting my money... I simply posted that just to show how fast it has been leaked... not to commit or promote piracy...
On another note... about the remake... DMROOLZ you are completely correct on that... the movie isn't going to be in theaters... its only on umd and dvd.... the remake... might not be done within alot time.. but it will eventually be done; I'm sure of it. The other FF's were not nearly as popular as FF7 was and I do not believe Square is willing to "risk" the remakes of them like they might FF7...

i hear all this raving about FF7, 8 and 9. I am a true believerin remembering our roots as the nintendo generation and have been playing Final Fantasy since its release. If they were to remake any final fantasy i personaly vote for final fantasy VI. For those of you unfamiliar with this title let me clue you in. something like 30 playable characters, several of the summons now popular were introduced here. Not to mention the story was so indepth that you couldnt help but feel like you belonged in the world of final fantasy. It had a happy blend of romance, sorrow, death and joy of which hasnt truely been matched since. On another note, they did rerelease final fantasy 1,2,4,5,6 for playstation one with better sound updated intros and some extra features but hardly updated the actual game graphics so it didnt really do these early titles justice. And what of the missing final fantasy 3 that never was released in the us??? is this title lost and gone forever?!?! now some older gamers might say that yes it was but you would be wrong! US's version of final fantasy 3 was actually final fantasy 6! And on the remake of ff7, it would be shame and a waist of potential if they never rereleased it, With some consideration for those new or still young to the worlds of final fantasy this title was really the first time gamers really noticed final fantasy. So I am sorry for this long excerpt, as the worlds premere final fantasy devout expert i felt obligated to set some things straight~!

3 was released for SNES, i have it. it's the one where the entities like Carbuncle, Ifrit, etc are called Espers. i have it. you should take a look- it's FF6 in Japan, but 3 for US

The problem with these 'FF7 remake petitions' is that there are simply too many of them. We need a more centralized, organised petition source with a realistic message to Square Enix.
Which is exactly what the guys at ff7petition.com seem to be doing, if anyone's interested!
