Hey everyone. Had a quick question. I just had the Motherboard on my computer give up. Not sure what part of it quit but since I replaced it, everything seams fine. What caused the problem is unkown. But could it be that I have been overworking my computer making backups of my DVD's? I have an extensive collection and begain backing up about 10-12 a week. Might sound stupid but I'm just trying to think what could have caused the problem. Thanks.

Yeah hard to say. It would be a good idea to replace your power supply also as under/over voltage can cause a problem. P/S's are cheap anyway and good insurance against future mobo problem.
Hardware failure is often related to either excessive voltage fluctuations (meaning, make sure you have a good power supply) or heat issues (meaning, make sure that you have adequate airflow through your case and that heat sinks are mounted properly with good thermal paste!)
