I recorded a VHS movie using my ATI TV card. Shrink will not accept the file created by the tuner. Windows Media player and the tuner software will play the movie. I tried making a Nero Super Video movie, but Nero seems to hate the file format as well. Anyone know how I can convert these video files into something DVD Shrink will recognize and burn to a DVD disk?

u could try vsodivxtodvd.i thinh it comes with a 21 day free trial now.if it works just run it through shrink or Nero recode then burn. pm me i still have a copy of the free version of divxtodvd.if it doesnt go to guides or software at the top of the page. if u cant find what u need write back and i will help u

I have a copy of Pinnacle Express I bought a while back. I never got a chance to use it. I am going to try running the file through it to see if I can change it into a more DVD friendly format. I will let you know if it works. I recorded one of my old store bought VHS movies with my TV card. I thought it would be nice to be able to back up all my old movies I have bought or recorded over the years. DVD's take up a lot less room and last a whole lot longer:)
