OK! I usually have more then file (with a movie) that I put together with my ArcSoft Show Biz 2 software and during the movie the transition is very choppy i guess you would say it frezzes for a second and its pretty obvious that the you just entered into a diff file is there any software that makes this transition smoother is that good enough English????

Does your Software Have Transitions?? A Transition is a way of Transitioning from one Clip to another without the Change looking awkward...

Some Transitions look like one Clip Fades into the Other and some can look like the Next Clip Comes Flying into the Frame or you can have one Clip Disolve into the Next and Many other Types of Effects can be used in transitions....

If that is the Sort of Thing you are Looking for then Most Good Video editing Programs And even Many of the Bad ones have Transitions...Most Editors that use a Timeline should have Transitions and there are so many I don"t know which ones to suggest, I guess i"ll Just name off a Bunch and you can go check them out on the Net...I"ll start with the Cheapo consumer level ones and Move up to the Better ones and I"ll give a rateing out of "10" for each Program in each Catagory....

Ulead Video Studio v9.0 ( 5 / 10 )
Pinnacle Studio v9.0 ( 4 / 10 )
Cyberlink PowerDirector v4.0 ( 4 / 10 )
Roxio VideoWave v5.0 ( 6 / 10 )
Video Edit Magic v4.0 ( 6 / 10 )
Adobe Premier Elements v1.0 ( 7 / 10 )
Canopus Let"s Edit v2.0 ( 7 / 10 )

These are some of the Higher end ones:

Ulead Media Studio Pro v7.0 (6 / 10)
Adobe Premier Pro v1.5 ( 7 / 10)
Sony Vegas Video v6.0 ( 8 / 10)
Avid Express Pro v5.1 ( 8 / 10)
Canopus Edius 3.0 ( 8 / 10 )

All of the editors Listed have Transitions that you Can put between Clips ...
All of the Editors in the Top List are Pretty Easy to use and aren"t too spectacular in what they can do but if you don"t want to spend a Lot of Time Learning how to use a More Complex Editor then one of the Editors in the Top list would be more suited to your Likeing....

The Editors In the Bottom List are Professinal Quality Video editors that are Geared Towards Professinal Videographers and Small Video Production Studios...
They are Quite a Bit more Complex and Harder to learn how to use But they can also do a lot more and Do it very well and they will output better quality Video.....

Well I hope this Helps a Bit?

Cheers

if ur files are AVI, i use vso divx to dvd to connect several tv shows. Don't know how smooth the transitions would be in a movie though. but try it, i like the program and it's simple to use.
