Can I use Gameshark method for DVDs?

Hello I have been trying to backup my DVD ps2 games but I havent goten any to work. I have a Plextor PX-716A. Im useing DVD Decrypter to make an image and burn. But i dont know what patcher to use for US DVD Games. And Secend I dont even know if I can use the game shark to boot DVD games. If I can, Can you help me? What Patcher do I use?

for most games you don't patch them, I would just break down and buy the Swap Magic discs which will be much better than loading with Gameshark. I do not think that Gameshark will help you in playing multi-system (PAL & NTSC) games.
But i am sure if you search around you can fine posts on here about how to load back up games with it. I have never tried.
