Hi there,

Just so you know, the latest version of DVDShrink is v3.2.0.15

Is your hard disks --> NTFS or FAT32 (Windows 9x) ?

Did you verify with explorer that you have at least 5 Gb of free space on the destination where your .ISO file is going or destination directory where your VIDEO_TS dir is going ?

Is your TEMP directories full or non needed stuff ?
Usually in C:\Windows\Temp etc...

Good luck, keep us posted !

what movie was this? I ask because this is the same error you get on some copy protected movies.

Also, yes update DVD Shrink as that version is over a year old.

Hmm for future refferences what programs are there to by-pass the css protections. I have tried another program to dvd region css+free, which is dvd43free, that isint any better unfortunatly.

Closer, I had a feeling that was it. You're gonna need AnyDVD (21-day free trial) running in the background to get this one. Ive actually heard that DVD43 works too, but I'm not positive on this one.

I've heard people say that AnyDVD 5.3.2.1 will do it.

use dvd region+css free running in the background and use DVD Decrypter in file mode to rip the whole dvd to the hard drive then open shrink and go from there.
worked for me.

i was wrong about the AnyDVD version, it's 5.2.3.1 not 5.3.2.1, but according to a post at clubcdfreaks.com AnyDVD has released 5.2.4.1, which says it supports Closer and it also says (this one does work) so I'm assuming there were some issues with 5.2.3.1.
