Hows it goin everyone? I've been burning dvds for quite some time now with DVD shrink, DVD decrypter and Nero. but 1 of my drives was getting moody, so i decided to get a bit moody myself and very calm and gently removed drive from lovely rig. Then opened 2nd floor window and gently threw the evil thing to its smashing death......ANYWAY i got a new NEC 3540A Dual layer burner and was wondering if i need other progs to burn a dual layer dvd. Thanks Maybe I should just go to anger management therapy!

Decent dual layer disks, such as Verbatim and Ritek and DVDDecrypter in iso read and write and you should be good. I have burned several now using this method and all came out good. Just make sure your standalone likes them there is some problem with older standalone players, and make sure your new burner's firmware is up to date. Good luck and happy burning :~)
