hi
i purchased "Seed of Chucky" and im trying to back it up to a DVD-r so i can keep a copy in my car for road trips.

but this ARccOS? thing is killing me, i tried DVD shrink and i get a error
"program exception error occurred"
or
"program exception error occurred
the handle is invalid"

i then tryed DVDdecrypter and copiedthe disc to my pc then try to DVDShrink it but i get the same errors.

i tryed VOB Blanker and had not luck, screen turns black

i played around w/it for a bit and it looks like the problematic protection might just be in the opening "Universal Pictures"
Sequence. using Ifoedit, i deleted that sequence out and attempted to save the remaining DVD but it wouldnt let me because the output would be around 7.3GB and would not fit on a DVD-r

i then tryed running DVD43free in the background while burning ... no luck.

hopefully this is the right section, i browsed this forum hoping to find an answer to my problem". if anybody has any ideas, have buckedup seed of chucky or even how to remove a scene from a dvd w/ifoedit, keeping everything else, can u help me out?

good looks arniebear ... i spent hours tryin to figure a way around that running boy.

First, go to the unreferenced material and click on ?still image? in the video compression settings.

This gets rid of the running boy and replaces it with whatever you choose (a blank frame is the best). However, it can still leave a fair sized chunk of MB on the disk which could be used for the movie.

For those who want to do it a little bit more easy I give you a simple solution.

If you use v 3.5.3.0 or the - sadly to say - final version 3.5.4.0 and rip the files in file mode - you can then open up them in DVD Shrink and shrink them in the normal way - you don't have to take care of the jumping/running boy.
