Sure the PSP is chipped, but I doubt it will have a bios that will allow it to play backups already flashed on it.You will probably have to flash it with a certain bios to even use backups, which brings me to ask you the next question. When are they releasing the programmer to hook up to the PSP,besides dev equipment. The chip is just memory on the system to store the bios. The bios is the brains behind the system which gives it all the nice features.I highly doubt Sony is going to release a PSP system that has an illegal bios.

i don't really understand fully what you are trying to say but i will assume that you are trying to say that we will be able to buy the xx-in-1 games for the psp just like the ones for the GBA.
but those are not copied games, they are just OLD games, which have been flashed onto the cartridge's memory.
i dont think you can put more then 1 psp games on 1 umd due to the size of the games. and how would u be able to burn the umd, being that they are in a shell?

from what ive seen on the psp they seem to be heading down the memory stick root for backups and copies, but there was something a few days ago (its in the psp forum) about a spanish team who have managed to hack the firmware of v1.5 psp and get some emulator to run
the video looks fake according to most, with After effects added

thats the link to the thread on afterdawn which has the external link in there

i agree with jpp01uk, i don't think the umd will be able to be burned. therefore all the backing up will be on memory stick type.

only trouble is at the minute i think is that when this comes out the price of a big memory stick to hold it isnt that cheap. In times prices will come down so thats good news

this is really great: an entire thread based on loosely put together sentences and a vague topic. nobody really knows what they are talking talking about but it makes for very creative discussions!
lets try this one:
TOpic: Sony say new games are free to download illegal 49 dollars hacking.

Quote: I got good news for people who are getting or have a psp in 2006 thay are creating copy umd discs for psp and all psp are chiped so thats good news
First off, I would like it if you didn't insult me by calling me stupid. At the very least use a word that I don't have to reprimand my 3 year old daughter for using.
Secondly, I don?t know what you or anyone else here knows about the forecasted future of Sony's lineup and that?s not what I was saying. I do know that the original post in this forum was as comprehendible as Corky from Life Goes On. Actually read my post and you might discover it wasn?t that vague, it?s all laid out for you. It seems pretty ridiculous to me that there are about 15 posts attempting to discuss or clarify a topic that was 61 words long and was based loosely on the idea that just because they are words, doesn?t mean that they necessarily make any sense when randomly placed together.

Actually I think it can be hacked with a UMD drive, but you still need some kind of transfer or programmer cable to use it with the PSP.If you look into PSP dev they are using a UMD drive and transfering the roms from the drive to the computer.A hack could possibly come from memory, but no matter which way you go it is going to be expensive.

No disrepect ment at all hummus19 but no one called you stupid. If anyone did, you must have done it yourself. If you look at what what said correctly it says Quote: why would u thinking of something as stupid as that to say?
Stupid in the sentence is actually describing the word "that" and is really referring what you said or were thinking. No one here called you stupid so go put yourself in time out for overreacting. Chill out man.
There is a lot of rumor going around that the PSP v1.5 has been cracked allowing games to play from the memory stick. It is suppose to be released soon so maybe that will open a lot of new windows for memory options and I am sure lots of new hacks will also follow. I have seen the video and it could be real but we will just have to wait and see.

Did he say i was stupid, no. Did he imply that i was stupid, yes. So please, dont insult me further by trying to justify the placement of the word.

Again, as ive tried to say time and time again, there is no coherent topic and there never was. johnoooo posted some words that quasi-formed some structure of a statement and you guys ran with it. End of discussion.
