Is NERO use automatically?

In the setup or perferences of DVD Shrink I have the box checked that says allow burning with Nero. And I have a version of NERO that came with my DVD drive installed on my PC. So, does DVDShrink automatically use NERO when it comes time to write to the blank DVD or is there an internal program in Shrink that burns it? I don't know because nothing but the DVDShrink program screen in on my monitor. NERO's program screen does not pop up.

Shrink does not burn only compresses and encodes, it will use Nero to automatically burn if the box is checked, if you uncheck the box you can then burn with another program. Here are some guides that will help you with the settings. You may want to download DVDDecrypter this can burn your disk, if Nero is not working for you :~)

Be sure to go to the Nero site and update your Nero software periodically. I believe the last update is dated for May 27th 2005. You will have to own the software and have the serial number to update however I believe.
