I see that there is a way to change a drives booktype in DVDINFO PRO from DVD+R to DVD-ROM. If I change that setting in DVDINFO PRO for my Lite-on Drive will Decrypter burn my discs as DVD-ROMs? I understand that DVD-ROM discs have less problems than others.

Yes it will. It could also be changed in Decrypter itself. Lite-On also has it's own bit setting program
