most gt4 torrent files are just nukes (things which don't work). to burn this game succesfully you will need the toxic dual layer patcher, an original gt4 game (if you don't have one then theres no point in doing this)a duel layer dvd writer and a blank dual layer disc. make gt4 image on hard drive, locate file with toxic duel layer patcher, patch and then burn.........simple. if you stumble across any problems then have a look here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/190104 you might have to change the book type to so broken down you need to

1) get DVD Decrypter, get toxics patch
2) make an iso of the game using DVD Decrypter (iso -> read mode)
3) patch the iso with toxics patcher
(4) change the book type to dvd-rom. this may not be necessary as people have reported success with the book type set to DVD+R DL, but to do it, right click on your dvd writer in DVD Decrypter and select 'Change Book Type', click the tab for the manufacturer of your writer, under 'Change For' select 'For DVD+R DL media' and under 'New Setting' select 'DVD-ROM' then click ok)
5) burn the image to disk (iso -> write mode)

Wow that seems simple. I thought you had to rebuild the iso or something like that, but all you have to do is patch?Crazy...

simple, all you need to do is toxic patch gt4 to play it as a dvd9 or do the 88% to get it to dvd5 (minus arcade mode)
