im having a problem with joining some avi's together, i read intructions on how to do it but the problem is the audio streams have different data formats for the clips i want to join.
Open part 1, select video direct stream copy. Select audio, full processing. Select file, save AVI.
Do the same to part 2.
You can now join the two new avi's you made.
You have now uncompressed audio on these files. Select compression.. Or Save WAVs from the original files and save videos with no audio (direct streams). Then open that audioless video, choose audio -> WAV audio.., open your wav file and then save AVI.
Revised instructions:
Open part 1, select video direct stream copy. Select audio, full processing.
Select audio, compression, mpeg-layer 3. Select file, save AVI.
Do the same to part 2.
You can now join the two new avi's you made, and they should be about the same size.
