Im tryin to burn an mpg file that i converted from .avi using intervideo windvd. I want to store it as a data file not as a movie. Im using the latest Nero tools but system just freezes up. Have tried different media types and got latest patche s/drivers for dvd burner(benq 1620). Sorry if this is wrong place tp post, if so please redirect: Help please!

Are you sure you delected 'Data DVD' ? I wouldn't Nero is tryng to uncompress that movie and to make a DVD-movie....

Yes, I selected the data dvd option. below is the burn log report. I just want to back it so ica edit it later.

IMPORTANT ADVICE FOR NEWBIES
after trying many different angles(IT couldnt possiblye the media several types had worked wwell before)with no success I finally bought some new cheap dvds from my local dollar shop. Presto!
S reebe aas try te most obvious first.
