hi there i tried backing up a dvd series of the simpsons but it only copied the 1st episode is there any way i can do the whole disc.quite new to this so be gentle :o)

I think you better get a better program Xcopy has not been updated for sometime and does not do well on episodal disks. Try free programs DVDShrink and DVDDecrypter. Guides and download are available at these sites

I use these to copy TV series, they work very well :~)

Are you having X Copy burn movie only?? Because this just looks at either the first Titleset or the largest one and gets just that. Try in full disc mode for episodic DVDs. Now that I think of it, I'm not too sure X Copy express will do full disc. I used to use X Copy Platinum which could do full disc or just movie.

Xpress can do the entire disc but I'd drop it and go with what arniebear suggested, Decrypter and Shrink is the way to go
