I can only seem to find these Disks with the media code TTG02, but in my experience these are not as good as the TTH01. Anyone??

i'm in uk too. why would you want those, though?
(i did see your other post re these discs and PS2 so have an idea).
you can get top quality media such as verbatim datalifeplus or other media from www.svp.co.uk ; see the first 2 links in my sig for media info, good and utter rubbish

Thanks for the reply creaky,
Your links mention Taiyo Yudend disks . I have tried TDK 1-4x dvd-r disks which had a media code of TYG01 with very good reults. If i bought these (DVDTYMWP42)disk from here -http://www.jetmedia.co.uk/taiyodvd.htm would i get the same results. Is it the same disks dye but just different manufacturers.
Thanks.

trouble with TDK is you gotta know exactly which ones you're buying as they use many crap manufacturers. As to the site you linked, i've not come across them before myself, so if you've not used them before, and want genuine TY disks, try www.svp.co.uk, i use them a lot myself, wll i only buy from them now.
Bloody hell those disks you mentioned are expensive, i take it you want printable. I did buy my first 100 TYs recently (i'm a staunch Verbatim freak), finally caved in and bought some non-printables for £38.
There's a TY extraordinaire who posts on here a lot called kivory666 who knows all about TY, and he's been at me to try some TY as i onlty ever buy Verb's. Anyway, from looking at the link you provided i can't verify if they're genuine. Buy from www.svp.co.uk if you do want guaranteed genuine TY, however there are other disks, such as Verbatim datalifeplus, that are comparable in quality. (i only use -R disks myself, but that's just out of habit).
Tell you what, i was helping out on a TY thread last night, kivory666 was helping me in trying to verify if someone's TY were fakes, i'll add the link in a moment...

Found it - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/1/201358#1086996 (that in turn points to a few of kivory666's TY posts i think)
big part of the clues with TY are the code numbers around the inner hub of the discs, but it's hard to get that info when you buy online. I read about quite a few ppl in UK who recommended svp to be selling genuine TY so i knew they'd be OK. The inner codes i got on the disks i bought were GG000107, you'll see info like that in the link i just pasted.
I don't think i mentioned it but the reason to be more careful with TY than other disks is they're considered the best disks and therefore are the most faked, plus they tend to appear 'unbranded' so it's hard to know if they're real. For instance when i started the dvd burning lark i bought many many 100s of TYG02 disks, turns out they were fakes so i'm usually on a mission to post about buying decent media (creaky shudders at the thought!, one or both of the first 2 links in my sig say it all about the fakes, arghh!).
As ever i've overexplained things, but hope it helps!

no problem at all -
Presuming you want -R discs - http://www.blankdiscshop.co.uk/acatalog/dvd-rprint.html
the best bet might be tubs of 50 of these 'DV 3150' - "Photo Printable Verbatim "Full Face" (8x) DVD-R Disc in Spindle Tubs of 50" for £18.33 each - MCC02RG20 discs
or 'DV 3139' - "Taiyo Yuden (8x) Full-Face Printables DVD-R in Packs of 100" for £46.00 - TYG02 discs
