Slim kit pro and Swap Magic 3.6 problem

Hello,
I got the a problem after I installed the Slim kit pro (same as slimtool). First I load Swap magic 3.6 on my ps2, when the "load program" appeard on the screen, then I open the lid. There will be a" insert a bigger TOC dis." message appeard on the screen.
Then I swap to an ps2 dis, even it's an original one, the screen still say "not valid ps2 dis". But if I press the "X" button, the original one will be loaded. but the import one not working.

My ps2 vision is UK PAL, my import game is "NTSC J".


I am using the "slim kit pro" same as slimtool and Swap magic 3.6.

I am wondering if the installation of slimtool is correct.

what will appear on the screen when you open the lid after displaying "Load program"?

Can I play the NTSC J vision game on my PAL ps2

What happens if you boot up swap magic with the lid open ? (I suspect it won't boot at all)

Sounds to me like the slimtool isn't properly fitted as its asking for a TOC refresh when you open the lid.

Japanese games can be played fine on your PS2 with swap magic as long as the tool is correctly fitted

What game are you trying to play? If it is the game GT4 then you cant play it with swap magic because it dont support DVD9 games(dual layer) and not even if the game is original! You must have a PAL ps2 and a PAL GT4 In order to play it!
