1.Does Shadow of Rome have some kind of protection cause I burned a copy of it tried to load it with swapmagic and it says invalid disc??

and i have no idea what you are trying to ask there?
If you mean can you take a DVD+R disc, copy it to your hard drive and burn it to a DVD-R, then yes you can.
If you mean can you change the disc itself, i doubt it.
They are slightly different formats from what i understand. and i really don't know why you would want to. If +R works better then buy +R. Same with -R.

You can only change the "book type settings" on a DVD+R to a DVD-ROM on DVD Decrypter or Nero. Other than that I'm clueless to what you're trying say here.
To change book type on DVD Decrypter:
1) open up DVD Decrypter,
2) go to TOOLS, DRIVE, Chang Book Type, then select your dvd burner if available there
3) on "change for", arrow it down to "Drive( for DVD+R/+R DL media)"
4) on "new setting", arrow down to "DVD-ROM", then CHANGE and OK
5) that's it... you've just changed the book type from DVD+R to DVD-ROM, this will make your PS2 to read/load/play easily.

well i searched and found the size was 4.35gb,meaning you are going to have to get the game size smaller to play it with swap magic.you need isobuster and could use Nero or cdvdgen to do this.you could click on the blue text to get the demo version of Nero.and i could give you some links to the other progs if your interested(nero is easier way).
