i have recently started getting into anime and i love it, i would like to hear any sugestions on anime movies to buy,and just so you dont tell me somthing i already have i have

The Crying Freeman series is one of the best ever!
I got into anime in the late 80's so many of my faves are from way back. Akira is one of the all time classics.
Ghost in the Shell is amazing as is Ninja Scroll.
The Guyver: Bio Booster Armor, the original Fist of the NorthStar, Genocyber and Golgo 13 are all outstanding. If you like street racing then check out Initial D :)

I'll add a second vote for Appleseed and a million votes for Initial D. I love cars and racing, so an anime involving that truly makes me ecstatic. I went as far as buying the japanese versions off ebay because I couldn't wait for the redubbed tokyopop versions. I'm a bit impatient sometimes...lol

i took your guys suggestions got ghost in shell ninja scroll and appleseed i loved them especially ninja scroll i am plannig on gettin the series of initial D next and i forgot to mention that i have many of the cowboy bebop eps already along with the movie

I bought AKIRA on dvd 'cause I heard it was a huge breakthrough and cell animation and all that. I think it's old though 1990 or something. I'm not really into anime but maybe it had a big budget or something. It was good.

they did not have it.....but you should out samurai x i would recomend the box set trust me it will be a well spent 50 $

i guess ill order it even thogh dont really like ordering stuff off the internet ,if there is a sam goody around you you should go there they have anime alot of the time i know the one by me is great they have a big a$$ selection of anime but i'll order it because i doubt they will ever have it considering it looks like it is from "back in the day"

i have quite a few of the "adult-oriented" animes that i bought last time i went to visit japan, they are actually more "funny" than i find them to be "good" i wouldn't actually recommend you purchasing them as they are more for those that can actually find the humor that lies deep within the animation~:)
but, the animes that i have are what everyone else mentioned :
akira, ninja scroll, st. fighter (been a big fan since i was a kid as i actually went to a St. Fighter tournament held here in Southern California and got 3rd place~ hehe...my life revolved around that arcade game for many years), ghost in the shell, princess mononoake, fist of the north star (is probably my ALL time favorite, it was awesome when i found it online, think i paid about $25 for it since it was considered a "foreign film"), and initial D too~
not that many, but, i find them very enjoyable~ sometimes when Disney animation is what is called for when my wife babysits these 2 little boys at my house, i sneak my "fist of the north star" into the little mermaid dvd case and hope she don't realize it...hehee..im evil~ :P
no Ariel/Sebastian for you today~ muhahahha~

Hey man I recommend Gungrave and S.cry.ed. Both series kick @ss!
If you like fighting anime try Grappler Baki(season 1 and 2), Airmaster (cool fights, weird story), and Tenjo Tenge. If it samuari action ...Samurai Champloo and Samurai Deeper KYO! I agree with the others Samuari X is pretty boring to me. Ohh hey also try some giant robo stuff.... Giant Robo, Getter Robo, and Shin Gattai Godannar (highly recommend Godannar!!)
Anyway I am a big anime fan any questions just ask....I am not into the Hentai stuff (adult anime) but I have seen and own plenty of anime ..... Hope this helps!!!
